Swamp Grimoire

Found in a bound trash bag at the bottom of a swamp in Louisiana during a search for a missing persons case, this grimoire is thought to be approximately 150 years old. When it was opened by the search and rescue team it released a substance that rendered all 4 members unconscious. Later, Jackson Neesmith, the youngest member of the crew would pass away from his internal injuries.

 

Currently, Esterotech testing has ruled out the possibility of swamp gas, and is looking into other avenues of research. Including but not limited to post-life item attachment theory, nuclear radiation and curses.
